Philip Sayce, Scars, Main Riff: Cover / Lesson

Here is a lesson / cover of what I could catch by ear from the song Scars by Philip Sayce.
It might not be 100% accurate, but that is the idea. I do not show note per note what it is because this is how I learn and I think that using your ear is good for practice.
Song played with a 50s Fender Road Worn through a small Peavey Amp, recorded with an iPhone (sorry for the bad sound quality).

The wind cries mary by Jimi Hendrix Guitar Cover by myself

I decided to use y Christmas present (fender greta amp) and record myself playing the wind cries mary by Jimi Hendrix with no backing track. I love this tune, it’s a great ballad and a good exercise to practice the Hendrixian chord embellishments.

My new best friend, Fender Stratocaster 50s Road Worn

My new best friend, Fender Stratocaster 50s Road Worn

I am the happy owner of a Fender Strat 50s Road Worn, Maple Neck, V shape neck, Vintage Tuner and Bridge, Tex Mex Pick Ups.

This guitar is amazing! I love the sound of the pickups (Jimmy Vaughan uses the same ones), the neck is aged and feels great! The big frets allow easy bends and the guitar stays in tune even after using the tremolo bar. Besides that the two tone sunburst with the nitrocellusose lacquer is beautiful!

You can see more picture of the guitar on my Guitar Pics page: https://proguitartricks.wordpress.com/guitar-pics-2/
