Cover of John Mayer’s wildfire by myself

This song has an interesting right hand finger picking technique. I played it with my Fender 50’s road worn through a tiny 2 watt Greta Fender amp

The wind cries mary by Jimi Hendrix Guitar Cover by myself

I decided to use y Christmas present (fender greta amp) and record myself playing the wind cries mary by Jimi Hendrix with no backing track. I love this tune, it’s a great ballad and a good exercise to practice the Hendrixian chord embellishments.

My Christmas gift to myself – Fender 2 watts Greta tube amp

My Christmas gift to myself - Fender 2 watts Greta tube amp

I bought this beauty today, a collectible amp as Fender stopped to produce it.

For the description, this is a 2 watts tube amp with a very cool look. It’s obviously not very powerful but it sounds really cool for someone like me who need a tiny amp to practice in his room to play blues. The clean sound is very good and as soon as you turn the volume up a little bit the amp starts to crank up and gives you that nice dirty sound.
Finally as all tubes amps it needs a bit of time to warm up to sound at its best!

Merci d’avoir lu cet article. N’hésitez pas à me laisser un commentaire ou à me poser des questions, je serai heureux d’y répondre !

Albert King licks lesson

For those who love the blues, SRV, John Mayer and of course Albert King this video is a must watch. I spend the last hour playing and incorporating these licks in my playing and it feels great 🙂 I wanted to share it with my blues guitarists fellows out there. Grab your guitar and enjoy the satisfaction of learning something cool to add in your playing.

My new best friend, Fender Stratocaster 50s Road Worn

My new best friend, Fender Stratocaster 50s Road Worn

I am the happy owner of a Fender Strat 50s Road Worn, Maple Neck, V shape neck, Vintage Tuner and Bridge, Tex Mex Pick Ups.

This guitar is amazing! I love the sound of the pickups (Jimmy Vaughan uses the same ones), the neck is aged and feels great! The big frets allow easy bends and the guitar stays in tune even after using the tremolo bar. Besides that the two tone sunburst with the nitrocellusose lacquer is beautiful!

You can see more picture of the guitar on my Guitar Pics page:
